We are a community center operated by Philadelphia Parks and Recreation. Our Advisory Council is made up entirely of unpaid volunteers who work to provide many additional resources and activities to supplement those offered through the City. We are currently in the process of establishing our own independent PA 501 (c) 3 non-profit status.
We have developed a formal donation policy, available upon request via email. We welcome financial contributions which allow us to offer more community events and to help us serve a wider, more diverse audience. We work in partnership with the Parks staff on site to identify needs and address our neighbors. Our goal is to provide positive experiences for everyone at very affordable rates.
In addition to funding, we seek donations of appropriate good and services that can be of use -- as well as more volunteer assistants for special events and community activities. Let us know how you'd like to get involved!
We thank all of our volunteers, local businesses, and community partners who have generously supported our efforts and make South Philly so special!

Join us each November for our annual fundraiser.
We've held an art auction, a Beatles-tribute night, and most recently, a festive hoedown. These events feature food, libations, live music, raffles, and lots of fun --- and provide community services to the neighborhood throughout the entire year!
